Kel-Lake Garden Centre is a beloved, family-owned garden centre serving the Lake Country and Kelowna communities. Known for its vibrant selection of plants, expert advice, and welcoming atmosphere, Kel-Lake has built a strong reputation among gardening enthusiasts. However, their previous website, built on WordPress, made it nearly impossible for Anna and her team to make timely edits or updates—requiring long wait times and external support for even small changes. Alongside a fresh website, Kel-Lake was also ready for a refined brand identity—one that felt vibrant, fun, approachable, and chic while staying true to its community roots.
The Solution
We designed a custom Squarespace 7.1 website that seamlessly aligns with Kel-Lake’s new brand identity. The site embraces their refreshed visual direction—bold colors, handcrafted details, and an abstract sun symbol representing positivity and growth. The new layout is engaging and intuitive, making it effortless for visitors to explore plant selections, seasonal offerings, and gardening resources. With an easy-to-update backend, the Kel-Lake team can now manage their website efficiently, ensuring it remains fresh and informative.
